I'm set up at Lehigh Carbon Community College live blogging the President's visit. I was at the airport and watched Air Force One land and the 21 vehicle motorcade proceed to the college. I have a bit of video of the plan and the President and will add that later today. The event is proceeding with the opening prayer.
The pledge followed and then the national anthem. Congressman Paul Kanjorski is also here with Allyson Schwartz whom I saw at the airport. She flew in with the President on Air Force One.
I see a marked difference in attitude from the Secret Service compared with Bush events. A Burger King on Route 309 had a message on its sign welcoming Obama and urging him to get a stimulus by having a Whopper for lunch. Tea baggers were near the airport and fringe anti choice elements along 309. Anti-war protesters had the choice spot at the entrance to the community college.
