I know the news, blogs, and social pages are all filled with a lot of downer stories lately, and scandals are running amok and all kinds of ugly is swirling about, but let's not totally forget some nicer things to enjoy as well, so that we don't get too full of gloom, at what is supposed to be a festive time of the year.

So, with that in mind, I extend to all of you an opportunity to kick off your holiday/festive season of celebration to chase away the blues & bad news, at...

The 2011, Reading Pagans & Witches Yule Ball

To be held Saturday, December 10th, 2011
@ The Riveredge 2017 Bernville Road, Reading, PA 19605
From: 6pm to 11pm

It will feature a 2 hour hot hors'd'ouevres buffet, open bar on beer/wine/soda, cash bar available for liquor purchases, a raffle with a variety of prizes & gifts, and plenty of great music to dance to and enjoy.

This is the 7th year that Reading Pagans & Witches are putting on this event & it is open to the public.

Tickets are $45 per person, which includes the food, drinks, favors, and entertainment, with raffle tickets being sold at the event and drawing held during the festivities.

Dress is cocktail/semi-formal to formal, or costume, in period renaissance garb or as an added theme for this year, Steam-Punk style.

Tickets MUST be purchased by Wednesday, November 30, 2011, to give an accurate headcount to the venue and may be obtained by emailing ticket inquiries to:

yuleball@readingpagansandwitches.org
OR
calling 610-823-9665

So please consider adding this festive event to this year's holiday calendar of fun things to do to chase away any holiday blues.  Also, feel free to spread the details of this event to others who may be interested.

For those on Facebook, an announcement can be found on their site @ Yule Ball
